First Prenatal

Not a whole lot to report here. Which is good! Chris came with me. They did an exam, asked tns of questions and of course answered any I had. Did the usual prenatal blood work up. The Dr wants to send me to get an ultrasound to date the pregnancy to get an accurate due date. So far everything looks healthy.

From the beginning

It all started January 23rd 2008. Chris was at work and I decided to test. 30 seconds go by and I THINK I see a line....I rub my eyes because I think I am seeing things. 1 minute mark passes. Oh my! Okay I don't think I am seeing things...there it was two pink lines. Oh my God we actually did it this time! I am Pregnant! So now how do I tell Chris...I have all day to figure it out since he will be home late...Wednesday being game night for the guys. After many hours of thinking of ways to tell the daddy to be, I finally figured out a way. My Best friend Juliet has made the suggestion. I put together a slide on my computer entitled "Our life..so far". It started out with the day we met, started dating, got engaged, got married, bought our first home.....queue the slide of pregnancy test and for fun a picture of me with a pillow stuffed in my shirt. It took him a few second for it to register with him. He was going to be a dad. He just kept saying...we did it? Your pregnant?
Yes, we did it...I am finally pregnant!
Today Chris brought me home some Lily's..my favorite! That was sweet. I also booked my
first prenatal appt today.
